Me ha salido al remplazar:

if ($avatar_mode == 'local') {
move_uploaded_file($avatar_filename,'/home/webcindario/Beti-Stadio/phpBB2'.$avatar_filename);
$avatar_filename = '/home/webcindario/Beti-Stadio/phpBB2'.$avatar_filename;
}
$tmp_path = '/home/webcindario/Beti-Stadio/phpBB2/tmp';

por....

if ($avatar_mode == 'local') {move_uploaded_file($avatar_filename,'/home/webcindario/beti-stadio/phpBB2/'.$avatar_filename);
$avatar_filename = '/home/webcindario/beti-stadio/phpBB2/'.$avatar_filename;}$tmp_path = '/home/webcindario/beti-stadio/phpBB2/tmp';

Aparentemente son iguales, no se en que cambian y porque me sigue saliendo el error

Tengo el mismo problema con los avatars. he hecho los cambios en el fichero pero me salen los siguientes errores:

Hola quiero agregar un poco de informacion que a mi me sirvió mucho

si al hacer esto para poder subir el avatar nos da un error de Bug hacer lo sig


Buscar este codigo:

if (!is_uploaded_file($avatar_filename))
{
message_die(GENERAL_ERROR, 'Unable to upload file', '', __LINE__, __FILE__);
}

Y lo deshabilitarlo, cosa que queda asi. (NO SE OLVIDEN DE LOAS * ANTES Y DESPUES DE CADA /)

Con esto ya podemos subir nuestro avatar, salu2 desde AR
